Start your day with a Green juice

Every morning as soon as I wake up I drink a full glass of water followed by a cup of warm water with lime. This has been part of my daily routine for a few years now. Additionally, over the past few months I have also started drinking a green juice half an hour before breakfast. The reason of having it on an empty stomach is because your body will absorb anything you consume better and faster, which means you will be absorbing all the vitamins and minerals present in the green juice.
I highly encourage you to try this. You don’t have to do it everyday, but try to doing it at least 3 to 5 days.

Some of the benefits you might notice after just a few days of juicing are:

  • 1 organic apple or pear
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1 romaine lettuce
  • 1 small cucumber
  • juice of one lime
  • 1-inch ginger

Run through a juicer, or blend and strain.
