Avocados make just about anything better, from salads to veggies and smoothies. I literally use avocados on everything from my morning toast to a delicious guacamole to pair with almost anything, etc.
I really recommend eating avocados, not only because they make everything better but because they are also high in healthy fats and a great source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
When you choose your avocados make sure to pick the ones that are almost ripe, in that way they will be ready to eat when you decide to use them.
When you buy your avocados pick the ones that are beginning to turn black. It is also important that you feel the avocado since color does not always indicate ripeness.
When you squeeze the avocado, it should be soft but still have a nice consistency.
