Raw Cinnamon Donuts


Am I obsessed with donuts or what? I don’t know what is it about them but I absolutely love them!
A few months ago I partnered with Coco Chia and developed a delicious maple chia donut recipe for our contest together. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that.

Today I am sharing a recipe that doesn’t involve an oven. Amazing right?! I used my dehydrator for this recipe, but if you don’t have one don’t worry! you can always use your oven on a low temperature.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 2/3 cup apple juice
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup agave

  • Glaze

  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp. milk

Directions:

  • 1. Add your oats to a food processor and process until it turns into a flour. Add in the walnuts and process again.
  • 2. Add the rest of the ground ingredients and process once more.
  • 3. Add your wet ingredients and process everything together.
  • 4. Spread the mixture into a donut pan and dehydrate at lowest temperature for 4 hours.
  • 5. For the glaze: Place your coconut sugar in a blender and blend until you get powder. In a small bowl whisk the powder sugar, cinnamon and milk.
  • 6. Once your donuts are ready, spread the glaze on top.
  • 7. Enjoy!
